BILL TAMLYN
I am a storyteller.
It all started when my first grade teacher told my Mom that I liked to entertain classmates with my stories. Little did I realize that telling stories was my superpower. Today, storytelling is the heart of my work. I bring brands, people, ideas and experiences to life through impactful narratives. It's a skill I've nurtured and honed throughout my career.
I've thrived in agencies and corporate communications, at small firms and Fortune 100 companies, such as Target and Travelers. I've written speeches for C-suite executives at forums ranging from The Aspen Institute and Clinton Global Initiative to the Economic Club of New York. And I've created and executed communications strategies and award-winning campaigns, edited publications, ghost written blogs, and led enterprise-wide projects and teams.
My approach to storytelling begins with empathy and understanding. Listening, learning and asking questions to reveal the essence of the story. Together, we define and refine objectives, challenges, nuances and goals. Then, through a collaborative process, we create unique and compelling stories that resonate with your audience and deliver results.
I believe in teamwork and having fun. I enjoy working with other creatives. And I know that everyone has a story. Let's tell yours.

I recently wrote a commencement address for Sleep Number CEO Shelly Ibach. She delivered the speech at her alma mater, University of Wisconsin - Stout, where she spoke at her graduation 40 years prior. A true full-circle moment.
